FIVE COUNTY MENTAL HEALTH CENTER dba RIVERWOOD CENTERS TO HOLD ANNUAL MEETING Riverwood Centers will hold its Annual Meeting at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 25, 2013, at its office located at 521 Broadway Avenue North, Braham, MN. The public is invited to attend this meeting. Following the meeting there will be an opportunity to meet informally with Center staff and Board members. Riverwood Centers was established in 1964 to provide mental health services to residents of Chisago, Isanti, Mille Lacs and Pine Counties. Current services include: diagnosing and treating mental illness; individual, family and group therapy, as well as Children's Therapeutic Services & Supports. In addition, the Center provides information and referral, consultation and education, crisis assessment and stabilization, community support services and day treatment for persons experiencing severe and persistent problems with mental illness, and specialized services for individuals experiencing sexual abuse, domestic abuse and anger management issues. The Center is overseen by an eight-member Board of Directors with one lay member and one county commissioner serving as members from each of the four counties.
