Mille Lacs County Sheriff Brent Lindgren honored several officers, deputies and residents at the county board meeting this month. Mille Lacs Tribal Police officer Noah Melberg, deputy Kyle Burton and K-9 “Yazz” were recognized for their apprehension of a fugitive, which required them to chase the suspect through a wooded area and through water and mud up to their waists.
