Louise Blaske

Louise Ann Blaske, age 84, of Milaca, was called to her eternal home on Thursday, July 24, 2014 in Milaca, MN. Louise was born on March 23, 1930 in St. Cloud, MN the daughter of Henry and Alma (Kath) Sell.
Louise attended public grade school in St. Cloud and graduated from St. Cloud Technical High School in 1948. She attended St. Cloud State College for two years and graduated with her teaching degree in 1950. She taught 4th Grade Elementary School in Mora from 1950-1952. On July 27, 1952 she was united in marriage to Marvin O. Blaske at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in St. Cloud, MN. They were blessed with almost 62 years of marriage. The couple lived in various towns until moving to Princeton in 1957. After retiring in 1996 the couple moved to rural Milaca and has lived there since. Louise was a very active member at Zion Lutheran Church of Rural Princeton. She taught Sunday school for many years and was the Bible study leader of her Ruth Circle for many years, almost to the time of her death. Louise loved to grow flowers, cook and bake, read books, crochet and spend time with her family; especially her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She will be dearly missed by many.
Louise is survived by her loving husband, Marvin of Milaca; 6 children, Mark (Valerie) of Decatur, AL, Rebecca (Mark) McBroom of Milaca, Christine (Thomas) Wood of Maple Grove, Stephen (Julie) of Shoreview, David (Melissa) of Jonesboro, AR, and Ruth (Scott) Kulberg of Maple Grove; 21 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; along with many other loving relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Vernon and sister Lillian.
A funeral service held at 11 AM, Saturday, July 26 at Zion Lutheran Church of rural Princeton. Visitation held from 9:30-11AM. Interment at Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
Arrangements entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Princeton.
