The following calls were made to the Milaca Police Department June 16 to June 26. The listed times are when the reports were filed and not necessarily when incidents occurred. They were compiled by Jeff Hage.

 

Monday, June 16

1:12 p.m. A barking dog complaint was made on Third Avenue NW.

6:17 p.m. A theft was reported on Central Avenue N.

Tuesday, June 17

4:31 p.m. A break-in and theft were reported on Fourth Avenue NW.

7:54 p.m. A male was arrested for domestic assault on Eighth Street NE.

Wednesday, June 18

9:27 a.m. A theft of a vehicle was reported on Eighth Street NE. Vehicle was located and a juvenile taken into custody for motor vehicle theft.

5:10 p.m. Damage to a vehicle was reported on Eighth Street NW.

Thursday, June 19

12:20 a.m. The possible theft of scrap metal was reported on Central Avenue N.

10:51 a.m. Officers stood by for the repossession of a home on Third Avenue SE.

2:29 p.m. Assisted Mille Lacs County with a warrant pick-up on Highway 23.

Friday, June 20

1:08 p.m. A theft was reported on Central Avenue N.

1:31 p.m. A theft was reported on Fifth Street SE.

1:41 p.m. A harassment complaint was made on Central Avenue N.

8:03 p.m. A vehicle on First Street E. was broken into and gone through.

8:39 p.m. A vehicle on First Street E. was broken into and gone through.

Saturday, June 21

8:55 a.m. property damage was reported on Fourth Avenue NW.

7:24 p.m. A female was arrested for domestic assault on Second Avenue NW.

Sunday, June 22

3:53 a.m. Assisted the sheriff’s department with a report of a motorcycle in a ditch on 70th Avenue south of 140th Street. An ambulance was dispatched.

2:13 p.m. Responded to a report of tubers stuck on a tree in the Rum River along Second Avenue SW.

5:39 p.m. Investigated a report of missing money on Ninth Street NW.

Monday, June 23

2:30 p.m. A series of NSF checks was reported on Central Avenue N.

Tuesday, June 24

9:34 a.m. A theft was reported on Third Street NE.

12:06 p.m. A paddle boat was reported to be found.

8:03 p.m. Officer removed an unwanted individual from a premises on Woodland Court.

9:07 p.m. Damage was reported to a vehicle on Third Street SE and Central Avenue.

10:21 p.m. Officer removed an unwanted individual from a premises on Woodland Court.

Wednesday, June 25

1:51 a.m. Suspicious activity was reported on Third Avenue and Third Street SE.

Thursday, June 26

8:58 a.m. A theft was reported on 10th Avenue SE.

5:46 p.m. Assisted the sheriff’s department with a motorcycle crash on Main Street in Foreston.
