James Fleigle

James Fleigle, age 83 of Oak Park, died Monday, December 23, 2013 at the St. Cloud VA Medical Center.
James Fleigle was born May 30, 1930 in Oak Park to Bert and Marie (Mohr) Fleigle. He had lived and farmed near Oak Park most of his life. He graduated from Foley High School in 1949.
James was a Veteran of the U.S. Army where he played on the Army football team from 1950-1952. After the service he worked for Franklin Manufacturing and worked construction. Jim farmed with his brothers and retired in 1954 and spent winters in Arizona. He was a generous man and had given anonymously to many charities and fund raisers over the years. He was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church.
He is survived by his sister and brothers; Dolores Kozlowski, Rockville, Md.; Dennis (Bonnie), Big Lake; Richard (Betty), Oak Park and sister-in-law, Elaine Fleigle of Minneapolis.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers and sisters Robert, Paul, Donald, Margaret Nystrom, Mary Otto and nephews, Jim Kozlowski and Duane Fleigle.
A Memorial Mass was held on Saturday, Dec. 28 at St. Louis Catholic Church, Foreston. Burial was in the Parish Cemetery.
