The co-op agreement between Milaca and Mora for boys hockey is apparently going to happen.
Activities director Jerry Westphal told members of the Milaca School Board at their May 21 meeting that he thinks the agreement will get done in June or July.
Westphal said on Tuesday this week that he talked last Friday with Gary Gauffin, the Mora activities director.
“He has to talk to his superintendent but it’s just a matter of getting it done,” Westphal said Tuesday.
Westphal said there are as many as 4 to 6 students interested in participating in hockey for next season.
“Three of those are positives,” he said.
One of those interested is a junior, the rest are sophomores.
Mora is already in a co-op for boys hockey with Hinckley-Finlayson.
