The Milaca Fine Arts Council is hosting a series of art camps this summer at the Milaca Arts Center downtown.
A cooking class with Chef Heather Jones will be offered June 3-6 at a cost of $25 per participant ($20 for MAC members). Kid Cuisine will be taught for ages 6-10 from 4 to 5 p.m. each day. From 5 to 6 p.m. World Cuisine for ages 11 and older will take place.
The Drawing with Artist Jim Larson camp is featured June 17-20 and again June 24-27 at a cost of $50 ($45 for MAC members). This class will be from 4 to 6 p.m. and is recommended for ages 7 and older.
Larson will be back at the MAC July 8-11 with Platemaking with Artist Jim Larson. Cost of this camp is $50 ($45 for MAC members). The camp runs from 4 to 6 p.m. and is recommended for ages 7 and older.
The Acting Workshop with Director/Actor Justin Helmer will be from 4 to 6 p.m. July 15-18. Cost is $50 ($45 for MAC members) and recommended ages are 8 or older.
Creative Moment and Dance with Choreographer/Dancer Alison Holland camp will be offered from 4 to 6 p.m. July 22-25. Cost is $50 ($45 for MAC Members) for ages 8-14.
A Clay Workshop with Artist Amy Cunningham will take place July 29-31 and August 6. Cost is $60 ($55 for MAC members). The workshop runs from 4 to 6 p.m. and is recommended for ages 12 to adult.
A summer camp performance and visual art show will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. August 10 at the MAC to feature the work of all participants.
