Despite the cool, rainy weather, dozens of area residents gather at Forest Hill Cemetery this past Monday for Memorial Day services.

The event included a performance by the Milaca High School band, under the direction of Andrew Nelson, as well as a reading of the deceased veterans, a dropping of wreaths into the Rum River and the singing of the National Anthem.
