Who’s your favorite children’s book character?

Curious George?  Maisy?  Or perhaps Llama Llama?

East Central Regional Library is kicking off its Mascot Mania program with appearances by many popular children’s book characters this spring.  Llama Llama will be visiting the Milaca Community Library on Thursday, April 18 at 10 a.m..

Llama Llama stories are written by Ann Dewdney and tell about this little llama’s many childhood experiences such as learning to share, not wanting to go to sleep at night and more.  The books include “Llama Llama Red Pajama,” “Llama Llama Misses Mama,” “Llama Llama Time to Share” and more.

Stop by the Milaca Community Library for a short storytime and meet and greet Llama Llama.  Be sure to bring your camera for a picture with him!  Kids will also receive activity sheets to take home with them.

The program is made possible with funds from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. For more information call the Milaca Community Library at 320-983-3677.
