Seniors to see games for free
Next fall when people 62 years of age and older attend Milaca High School football games they won’t be charged for admission.
The Milaca School Board decided at its Feb. 19 meeting to put that policy into effect for all activities when the next school year begins.
A year ago the decision was made to begin charging senior citizens the same rate as students, $3.
The feedback from that decision was apparently enough to rescind that $3 ticket price in a motion made by Todd Quaintance at last week’s board meeting that was passed unanimously.
The policy will apply to all people that age attending activities, not just those from the Milaca area.
