Marshall Alan Bruflodt

A memorial service for Marshall Alan Bruflodt, 55, of Fort Worth, Texas, will be at Stones Throw Golf Course in Milaca on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 1 p.m. Burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Milaca, close to his mother. We look forward to sharing that time with friends and family.

Marshall died Feb. 10 in Fort. Worth, Texas.
He was born Nov. 18, 1957 to Gerald and Dorothy Bruflodt in Milaca. He was raised in Milaca where he graduated from high school. in 1981 he graduated from St. Cloud State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautics Engineering. Marshall moved to the Fort Worth area shortly following graduation from college.

He married and to that union were born Rebekah and Christian who both reside in Texas.

Marshall worked for the Kenneth Copeland Ministries for a time as well as General Dynamics. He felt the calling to do missionary work and spent five years in Africa doing so. Upon returning to Texas, he worked as a youth pastor and later was an independent carpenter, using his wonderful hands to create. He was employed by the Weir Company for the past four years where he was thriving as a product specialist.

As a boy in Milaca, Marshall participated in football, wrestling and golf and earned many accolades as an outstanding athlete. The love of golf stayed with him throughout his life. He also loved to dance and play the guitar and was always ready to visit with anyone that wanted to talk. He was always quick with an infectious smile and gave a good, firm handshake as well as great hugs.

He is survived by his children, Rebekah and Christian Bruflodt; special love Julie; sister Mary Jo (Chuck); brother Mark (Norma) and Donna Bruflodt; nieces, Jennifer, Anna (Joel), Dorian (Eric) Erin; nephews, Christopher, Derek (Erin) and Kyle (Shealyn); cousins, Calvin, Sarah (Greg) and James; Marshall leaves behind many loving family members and friends.

Marshall was preceded in death by his parents; and brother Mike.
