Cindy Rosen, 55, of Milaca passed away Thursday, November 8, 2012 surrounded by her loving family at her home after a 14 month battle against cancer.
Cindy Marie Rosen was born July 27, 1957, the daughter of David and Helen (Johnson) Boxrud at St. Mary’s Hospital in Minneapolis.
Cindy grew up in the Lino Lakes area until 1971 when the family moved to Little Elk Lake. Cindy attended and graduated from Princeton High School in 1975. While in high school, she met the love of her life, Chuck Rosen. They were united in marriage on July 30, 1977 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Princeton. Together Cindy and Chuck enjoyed raising their two sons, Cory and Craig. For the last 28 years Cindy has been employed at Crystal Cabinets of Princeton. Ten years ago Cindy and Chuck moved from Princeton to their present home in Milaca.
Cindy loved doing crafts. She especially liked to crochet, making hats, scarfs and mittens for Toys for Tots. She loved to garden and grow flowers. Peonies were her favorite. She loved the outdoors. As often as possible, she would be outside enjoying nature and wildlife.
Cindy is survived by her loving husband of 35 years: Chuck; sons: Cory (Emily) Rosen and Craig (Sarah)
Rosen of Princeton; grandchildren: Chase and Ella; brother: Dan (Nancy) Boxrud of Ham Lake, sister: Cathy Rosvold of Brooklyn Park; many loving nieces and nephews and best friends, The YaYa Sisters.
Cindy was preceded in death by her parents: David and Helen Boxrud and her favorite brother-in-law: Bob Rosvold.
Memorial Service was held 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral, Princeton, MN.
