The group is looking for vendors, artisan crafters, artists, businesses and individuals to perform demonstrations and sell their goods geared for the holiday.
“We would like our guests that evening to have a shopping and learning experience that focuses not only on buying for the season, but doing for the season,” said the MAC’s Mimi Peterson. “Because this is our first year for MAC the Halls, we are not asking for a booth fee this year, but we would appreciate something small donated that we could use as a door prize to draw in guests.”
Participants are need to create demonstrations for the following topics:
•Decorating (interior or exterior)
•Simplifying the holidays
•Taking care of yourself
“If you have something else that fits in with this theme, just let us know,” Peterson said. “We are open to suggestions.”
The event also features a people’s choice “Anything Goes Wreath Contest” to adorn the walls at the arts center. Wreaths can be dropped from 4 to 5 p.m. the day of the event.
