Milaca Co-Head Coaches Jennifer Burroughs and Joe Wenner feel their team is primed for a good showing at the Granite Ridge Conference Swimming and Diving Meet at Sartell High School.
“We feel we have a good chance to get some all-conference and all-conference honorable mention performances,” said Burroughs. “We like our chances in the relay events and we feel our divers will do well.
“As a team, we’re shooting to place third or fourth in a meet that will have a lot of good teams and individuals. Overall, we’re looking for great performances, time cuts, improved diving scores and we’re hoping for good times and scores to boost our roster for the section meet.”
Diving preliminaries Saturday are at 9:30 a.m., with the swimming and finals starting at 1 p.m. Sartell has an eight-lane pool.
