Little Falls outscores Milaca 54-36

Little Falls rolled to a 54-22 halftime lead and went on to trim Milaca 54-36 in a Granite Ridge Conference football game Wednesday night, Oct. 17, at Little Falls.

The game concluded the regular season for both teams. Milaca finished 0-8 overall and 0-7 in the Granite Ridge while Little Falls finished 3-5 and 3-4.

The Flyers rushed for 458 yards and had 143 yards passing.

Milaca senior Jonah Gahm ran for 152 yards on 14 carries and scored on runs of one and 15 yards. Junior Brian Kiel scored on a seven-yard run, sophomore Mike Garber scored on a one-yard run and junior Matt Cluraghty returned a fumble 92 yards for a touchdown.

In other Granite Ridge games Wednesday, Becker edged Mora 16-12 at Mora, Foley tipped Princeton 13-12 at Foley and Zimmerman stopped St. Cloud Cathedral 69-27 at Zimmerman. Albany lost at New London-Spicer 20-7 in a non-conference game.

Becker won the GRC title with a 7-0 record while Foley placed second at 5-1.
