MHS plans homecoming events
Milaca High School Homecoming week will be Monday, Oct. 1 through Friday, Oct. 5.
The community is invited to attend Pizza Fest, which will take place at the football field concessions on Wednesday, Oct. 3. The event will be all you can eat pizza from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tickets cost $5 in advance tickets, or $7 per person at the door. Kids age 6 and younger cost $3.
Advance tickets can be purchased from either the elementary or the high school offices.
The traditional Powder Puff football game will take place at 5 p.m. that night. In the case of inclement weather, this event will be hosted in the High School cafeteria.
Friday, Oct. 5 the public is welcomed to attend to the Big Game Block Party. Tailgate with the Wolves by playing free games, participate in activities for children, and compete in contests to earn prizes sponsored by local businesses.
A variety of food booths sponsored by school activity groups will be available, and include pork chops, burgers, walking tacos, sloppy Joe’s, sweets and treats and much more. The block party will run from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the parking lot behind the school.
Stay for the homecoming game starting at 7 p.m. where the Milaca Wolves will take on the Cathedral Crusaders.
