Dale Curtis Hunt, age 78 of Monticello passed away on Friday September 21, 2012 at North Memorial Medical Center of
Robbinsdale. Visitation will be Thursday September 27, 2012 from 4 PM to 5 PM at Bridgeview Assembly of God Church, 20500 County Road 11, Big Lake. The funeral service will follow at 5 PM Thursday. There will be a private interment. Funeral arrangements are with the Peterson-Grimsmo Chapel of Monticello.
Dale was born on August 7, 1934 in Youngstown, Ohio to Curtis W. and Flornece B. (Marshall) Hunt. While attending North Central Bible Institute in Minneapolis, Dale met Virginia Hane, and the two were united in marriage on August 11, 1956. The couple made their home in Monticello since 1968. Dale owned and operated Riteway Precision Machine of NE Minneapolis for many years. He was an active and long time member of Bridgeview Assembly of God Church, where he had served as a Sunday School teacher, Board Member and Royal Ranger leader. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, outdoor activities and loved cars. Dale was very creative and invented various items throughout his life. He was a musician who led worship at church and was a drummer. He was generous and invested his life in people and projects.
He is survived by his five children Beverly (Arlo) Dee, Rev. Bradley (Becky) Hunt, Greg (Lori) Hunt, Robert (Kimberly) Hunt, Curtis (Morlie) Hunt; 17 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and sister Joretta Scott. Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Florence; wife Virginia in 2010; and two sisters Lois and Nancy.
