Milaca Public Schools is offering a series of building tours open to area parents, residents, businesses and professionals throughout the upcoming school year.
“The purpose of the tours is to give people a first hand look at programs, classes and opportunities for students that attend our school,” said Superintendent Jerry Hansen. “Our school is one of the foundations of our community and one factor that people consider when moving into a community is the school system. The more community members and business owners know about their schools, the more they can promote our entire community as a great place to live and raise a family. In the long run, we hope this will be a boost for all of Milaca.”
Tours are scheduled for the third Tuesday of each month (except December) beginning at 9 a.m. Each month focuses on a specific group; however, anyone who is interested is welcome to attend. The school asks if community members would like to attend one of the tours, they call the District Office at 320-982-7210 to register by the Thursday prior to the tour.
The tours are scheduled for 9 a.m. Tuesday: Aug. 14, Sept. 18, Oct. 16, Nov. 20, Jan. 15, Feb. 19, March 19, April 16 and May 21.
