Police find drugs, arrest three men

Mille Lacs County Sheriff Brent Lindgren has announced that agents of the North Central Drug Task Force, the Mille Lacs County Sheriff’s Office and the Milaca Police Department executed a search warrant Wednesday, Sept. 14, at 135 6th Ave SE, Milaca.
Charles Henry Hanson, 53, of Milaca, Jason Henry Husman, 40, of Milaca, and Calvin Bruce Johnson, 50, also of Milaca, were arrested. Agents, investigators and officers seized suspected methamphetamine and marijuana during the search of the residence and a vehicle.
All three men were seen in Mille Lacs County District Court Monday, March 19. The Mille Lacs County Attorney’s Office is prosecuting the case.
Hanson and Husman were both charged with one count of fifth degree controlled substance possession, which is punishable of not more than five years imprisonment and/or a $10,000 fine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Johnson was charged with one count of third degree sales of controlled substance, one count of fifth degree controlled substance possession, which is punishable of not more than five years imprisonment and/or a $10,000 fine, one count of possession of small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Husman’s bail amounts were set at $30,000 unconditional and released on his own recognizance with conditions. Hanson’s bail amounts were set at $30,000 unconditional and $10,000 with conditions.
Johnson’s bail amounts were set at $100,000 unconditional and $25,000 with conditions.
