Local law enforcement honored for efforts

An area State Patrol trooper and a sheriff’s deputy were honored recently for their cooperation and efforts in law enforcement.

National Insurance Crime Bureau Supervisory Special Agent Robert L. Henderson was at the Mille Lacs County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday, Jan. 31 and presented State Trooper Brian Milan, Mille Lacs County Sheriff Deputy Bret Erickson and Mille Lacs County Sheriff Investigator Don Lorge with individual awards for their cooperative work on recovering 15 stolen vehicles in central Minnesota.

“It is through cooperation and working partnerships together as a team we were able to put this case together,” Sheriff Lindgren said. “Sharing of information, working together, and uniting as a team, these three Officers put an incredible case together worth special recognition.”
