Although the GOP caucus process has been receiving much of the attention, the Minnesota DFL is gearing up for its own caucus process as well.

“Minnesota caucus meetings are the grass roots of our political process for all of Minnesota,” said precinct coordinator Jeff Strand. “This being a presidential election year, we expect a larger than normal crowd. While we will not hear regarding the redistricting until Feb. 21, the caucus will concentrate on local issues where caucus attendees will submit resolutions to start their process in becoming part of the DFL party platform.”

The Mille Lacs County DFL Convention will be Saturday, March 17 at the American Legion Hall in Milaca. The district DFL conventions will be announced at a later time.
