Kiel becomes scoring leader

Milaca senior Brandon Kiel scored 35 points against Rockford Monday night at Rockford to become Milaca’s career basketball scoring leader with 1,406 points.

Kiel surpassed the former record of 1,380 points by 1992 graduate Jason Johnson. He entered the game with 1,371 points.

Rockford overcame Kiel’s effort and won the non-conference game 63-57.
