Wesley G. Bleed
Wesley G. Bleed was born Feb.22, 1930 in Mille Lacs County to Axel and Hulda (Nelson) BLeed.
He attended grade school at Estes Brook District 7, and Milaca High School where he graduated in 1948. He served in the U.S. Army from 1951 to 1953 and was a Korean War Veteran. He was a retired warehouse employee for a food distributor. He married Darlene Kern in 1956 and they had two children, Dianne and Kevin. They lived in St. Louis Park till 1982 when they moved to Branson, Missouri. He passed away on February 10, 2007 at Point Lookout Rehab and Care Center in Hollister, Missouri. Cremation was arranged in Branson by Greenlawn Funeral Home. Memorial Serivces will be held at a later date in Minnesota.
Survivors include his wife, Darlene of Branson, daughter Dianne Carlson of New Brighton, Minn, and son, Kevin Bleed of Ft. Wayne Indiana. Also survived by three brothers; Donald of Casselton, ND, James of Estes Brook, and Howard of Rush City; one sister Grace Mewes of Amery Wis; and six grandchildren.
Preceded in death by parents Axel and Hulda, brothers Charles and Herbert, and sister Betty Thompson.
