Funeral services for Viola Isabelle (Kohlgraf) Robinson, 91, of McGrath were held on Saturday, April 14, 2007 at the Calvary Presbyterian Church in McGrath with the Rev. Dallas Curt Smith officiating. Music was provided by Eunice Kohlgraf and Connie Sedergran. Pallbearers were Dennis Kohlgraf, David Kohlgraf, Jerry Kohlgraf, Arnold Kohlgraf, Gordon Kohlgraf, Kerry Kohlgraf, John Herubin. Honorary pallbearers were Todd Hoyhtya, Pam Hoyhtya, Randy Hoyhtya, Sue Ralph, Paul Ralph, Tammy Robinson, Terry Robinson, Gerald Cook, Zach Ralph, Paige Ralph, MacKenzie Ralph, Brody Ralph, Aubrie Ralph, Ashley Robinson. Burial was at Sunnyside Cemetery in Willow River, Minn.

Viola died Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby, Minn.

She was born Nov. 21, 1915 in Hope, N.D. to Joseph and Flora (Leesberg) Kohlgraf. She moved with her family to her grandparent's farm in Deer Creek, Minn. She attended country school there. The family moved to White Pine in 1929 where she attended White Pine Country School. Viola married Oakley Robinson Sr. in 1936. They resided in (White Pine) McGrath area where they farmed. Viola worked in the fire tower in White Pine Township for several years, was a supervisor on the White Pine Town Board until her death, member of the Calvary Presbyterian Church Ladies Aid, McGrath Good Neighbors, and the Dad's Corner Homemakers Club.

She enjoyed fishing and outdoor activities. Viola's greatest enjoyment was her family, spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her children and spouses; son, Oakley (Joan) Robinson Jr.; daughter, Charlotte (Dave) Hoyhtya; grandchildren; Tammy Robinson (Gerald Cook), Terry Robinson, Todd (Pam) Hoyhtya, Randy Hoyhtya, Sue (Paul) Ralph; great-grandchildren, Zach, Paige, MacKenzie, Brody, and Aubrie Ralph, Ashley Robinson; sister, Dorothy Bartholomew; sister-in-law, Audrey Kohlgraf; brother-in-law, Chester Robinson; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Oakley Sr.; parents; brothers, George and Herbert.

Arrangements were by Dresser-Methven Funeral Services of Mora.
