Bock councilman
defends actions
To the Editor:
I feel a need to respond after the City of Bock Council meeting May 12.
When some council members donated their salary to help pay for legal expenses, that was a noble act.
My position is I donated over three years of my time without pay. When we were struggling and being frugal to make a $5,800 one year budget.
Now if we have enough money to pay a lawyer $600 for three hours at a community hearing, that accomplished nothing but rile up the community, then I feel we have enough money to pay me half that amount for a year on the council.
Iım not anti-lawyer, but I know a little bit about lawyers. I have two brothers that became judges.
