Glen Peterson

Glen O. Peterson, 66, of Mora, died on Wednesday, May 7, 2003 at the Kanabec County Hospital in Mora.

He was born May 10, 1936 to Glen and Helen (Olson) Peterson in South St. Paul. When Glen was in grade school, he and his family moved to Milaca. In about 1957 he moved to Minneapolis and married Donna Oquist on March 26, 1960. Glen and Donna then moved to Mora in 1972 where they have remained.

Glen worked primarily as a laborer, doing construction work. He enjoyed working in the garden along with various other yard work. He liked to go fishing when he was younger and was very much an outdoor person. He and his wife Donna enjoyed making trips to the casino as well as watching movies.

Glen is survived by his wife, Donna; son, James (Heather) Peterson of Council Bluffs, Iowa; daughter, Judith (Darryl) Dack of Mora; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild; brother, LeRoy (Barb) Peterson of Milaca; and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, May 11, at Dresser-Methven Funeral Home in Mora with the Rev. Duane Fowler officiating. Music was provided by Jacki Peterson. Pallbearers were Charlie Dack, Mike Peterson, Steve Peterson, Steve Walbridge and Konner Peterson. Honorary pallbearers were Brian and Dale Mueller. Burial will be at a later date.
