David Anderson
David Anderson of Milaca has been placed on the St. Cloud Technical College Presidentís List for fall semester 2002. The list is for students who earned a 4.0 grade point average.
David is studying to be an industrial electronics technician.

Kristine Norberg of Milaca has been named to the Deanís List at Buena Vista University for fall semester 2002. Those named to the list must have a minimum 3.5 grade point average and must have taken at least 12 hours of coursework.
Kristine, a freshman, is the daughter of Michael and Silvia Norberg of Milaca.

Lindsy Johnson of Milaca has been named to the Deanís List for fall semester 2002 at Minnesota State University, Moorhead. To qualify, students must maintain a 3.25 grade point average and carry 12 graded credits.
Lindsy is majoring in social work.

Connie is majoring in advertising.

Army National Guard Pfc. Michael A. Schummer has graduated from the utilities equipment repairer advanced individual training course at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Aberdeen Md.
He is the son of Wade A Schummer and Vicki L. Visser, both of Milaca. Michael is a 2002 graduate of Milaca High School.

Michelle Swenson of Milaca has accepted membership in the Golden Key International Honor Society. She is a student at Minnesota State University, Mankato. The society is a non-profit, academic honors organization that provides academic recognition, leadership opportunities, community service, career networking and scholarships. Membership is by invitation only to the top 15 percent of juniors and seniors in all fields of study.

Marlene is pursuing a degree in the office technology assistant medical option.

Alicia Connor of Milaca has been placed on the first semester honorable mention honor roll at Central Christian College, McPherson, Kan. The list is for students who earned a 3.0 to 3.29 grade point average.
Alicia also is the recipient of a Highest Honor Scholarship for the 2002-2003 year. The scholarship is based on GPA and ACT scores.
Alicia, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Connor of Milaca, is a sophomore liberal studies major.
