Funeral services for Doris Andrena Judd, 83, of Milaca, were held Monday, Feb. 3, at the Milaca United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kevin Dunn and the Rev. Tom Sahlstrom officiating. Burial followed at the Forest Hill Cemetery in Milaca.

Music was provided by Anne Carlson and Madison Goodrich. Pallbearers included Rick Goodrich, Randy Anderson, Aaron Judd, Ali Judd, Amy Anderson, Mike Anderson and Kevin Wedell.

Arrangements were with the Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home of Milaca.

Doris died Friday, Jan. 31, 2003 at the Milaca Elim Home.

She was born June 13, 1919 to Andrew and Helma (Peterson) Wedell in Milaca and grew up near Milaca, attending public school. She married Chester Judd Sept. 4, 1943 in Fort Worth, Tex. and they had four children. After WWII, they made their home on the family farm for three years, then moved to a farm near Foreston, where they lived for forty-five years. Due to Chesterís declining health, they moved to Milaca in 1994. One year after Chesterís death in 1995, Doris moved to the Caley House in Princeton. In 2002, she moved to the Milaca Elim Home, where she lived until her death. She loved to bake, sew and knit.

Doris is survived by her children, Gary and wife Carol of Milaca, Sybil Judd of San Francisco, Calif., Michael and wife Elaine of Milaca and Laura Goodrich and husband Rick of Lakeville; five grandchildren, Amy Anderson and husband Randy, Allison Judd and husband Chewy, Aaron Judd, Madison Goodrich and Judd Goodrich; two great-grandchildren, Kylie and Kellen Anderson; brother, Roy and wife Hazel Wedell; brothers-in-law, Orville Olsen and Bernie Latteral and wife Jesse; sisters-in-law, Rita Gorecki, Velma Wedell and Latti Judd; many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Chester; siblings, Esther Wedell Olsen, Myrtle Wedell Latteral, Clarence Wedell and Albert Wedell.
