Raymond Zastrow

Raymond A (Bobby) Zastrow, age 85, of Brooklyn Park, and formerly of Bock, died Sunday, Feb. 9, 2003 at his home as he wished.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Ruth; mother and father, Albert and Jenni (Ekman). He is survived by son, Brent (Joelien); grandchildren, Timothy and Jennifer; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Bernice Johnson (Glenn) and Pearle Branch. Raymond retired from Ford after 20 years. He was a member of local UAW #879 and a World War II 101st Airborne veteran. He was noted for his kindness and generosity. He loved getting up at 5 a.m. on Sundays and going fishing with his son.

Services were Thursday, Feb. 13. at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, in Brooklyn Center. Burial was Thursday, Feb. 13, at the Borgholm Cemetery near Bock.
