Lisa Marie Beeuwsaert
Lisa Marie Beeuwsaert of Milaca has been placed on the Deanís List for fall semester 2002 at the University of Minnesota-Duluth. The list is for students who earned a 3.7 grade point average.
She is the daughter of Marlene and the late John Beeuwsaert.

Garrit Kiel
Garrit Kiel of Milaca is the director of the Southwest State University Drama Club presentation of "American Buffalo." The play is about three men plotting to commit a crime in Chicago. Performances will be in the Black Box Theatre Feb. 6-8 at 7:30 p.m. and Feb. 9 at 2 p.m.
Garrit is a senior theatre arts major. He also attended the Kennedy Center/American College Theatre Festival in Cedar Falls, Iowa, Jan. 21-26. Garrit competed for the Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship as a scene partner.The spring cast of "Blood Brothers" was recognized for Meritorious Achievement for Ensemble Performance.

Charles Wojciechowski of Foreston has been named to the Honorís List for fall semester at Ridgewater College. To be included on the list, a student must carry at least 12 credits and maintain a 3.0-3.49 grade point average.

David Stoeckman of Milaca has been placed on the St. Cloud Technical College Presidentís List for fall semester 2002. The list is for students who earned a 3.5 to 3.9 grade point average.
David is studying to be an automotive service technician.

James is studying microcomputer support and network administration.

Kristi L. Billings, daughter of Craig and Sherie Billings of Milaca, has been named to the 2002 fall semester deanís list at Augsburg College. Students named to the list must have a 3.5 or better grade point average for the semester.

Sara Jacobsen
Sara Jacobsen, daughter of Bruce and Linda Jacobsen of Milaca, has been named to the deanís list for 2002 fall semester at the College of Saint Benedict/Saint Johnís University. Students named to the list must have a 3.8 or better grade point average for the semester with no incompletes or unsatisfactories. Jacobsen is a junior biology major at CSB.

Keirsa Johnson
Keirsa Johnson, a student at University of St. Thomas, traveled to Vanceburg, Ky., in January to volunteer at the Glenmary Farm. She spent a week involved in home construction for low-income families and in other service to the poor of the area.

Erin Schenk
Last spring Erin Schenk, a June 2002 graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College, was elected to the Eta chapter of Phi Beta Kappa, the nationís oldest and most prestigious honorary society. Students are elected based on their academic performance in fields of liberal learning.

Peter Berg
Peter Berg of Milaca was named to the fall semester deanís list at Northwestern College in St. Paul. The list includes full-time students with a grade point average of 3.65 or higher. He is a youth ministry major at Northwestern.

Aaron Carlson
Aaron Carlson, son of Alan and Jane Carlson of Milaca recently received the Glenn A. Peterson Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $700. Recipients were recognized Dec. 5 at a luncheon in the Memorial Union Ballroom at North Dakota State university. Carlson is a senior at NDSU majoring in crop and weed science and minoring in animal science.

Dan Matthews of Milaca was named to the fall semester deanís list at Northwestern College in St. Paul. The list includes full-time students with a grade point average of 3.65 or higher. He is a kinesiology major at Northwestern.

Jill Hubers
Jill Hubers of Milaca was among 58 Gustavus Adolphus College students who took part in the collegeís study abroad program for fall semester 2002. She studied in Dublin, Ireland.
