Comments welcome, insults not Oh wouldnít it be loverly to write about romance and sweet gestures this Valentineís week. Little love notes, flowers, and kind words to those we love. Instead, Iíll be addressing those who have accused me and the newspaper of incredibly insane things and have voiced their opinions through nasty little emails. You are more than welcome to get your frustrations out and vent your thoughts, but Iíd like to remind you that we have an opinion page for that purpose. You can write your thoughts down and submit a letter to the editor, which needs to include your name, address and telephone number for verification purposes. Sending us lengthy emails with misin- formation and rumors, then wanting us to report on rumors and hearsay isnít going to do much for your cause, especially when you donít have the courage to sign your name. Rumors are called rumors for a reason. Webster defines it as, "Information of uncertain truthfulness, usually spread by talk." You can question our decisions as to what to print and you can do as much research as youíd like. Thatís what I do. I question things, find out the facts and then report the news. And I do my best to always present both sides of the story. Hearing both sides of the story may bother some readers, but thatís good journalism and we intend to continue our reporting that way. We welcome reader comments and view points, but if you could omit the personal derogatory statements, it would be appreciated. In fact, it would be loverly.
