Memorial services for Helen A. King, 88, of Minneapolis, were held Monday, Feb. 10, at the Lutheran Church of the Master in Brooklyn Center. Private burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, North Branch.

Helen died Feb. 6, 2003.

She was born Jan. 18, 1915 in Minneapolis to Harry and Myrtle (Locke) Ames. She and her first husband, Lloyd Look, lived in the Mille Lacs area, where they raised their family.

Helen retired from Northwestern Bell after 25 years as a telephone operator and engineer. She was a long-time member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Helen was preceded in death by two husbands, Lloyd C. Look and Ray D. King; daughter, Anna Belle Broich; her parents; and brother, Bud Ames.

She is survived by two sons, Harry Thomas Look and wife Colleen, and James Lloyd Look and wife Carol; eight granddaughters; 12 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; brother, Tom Ames and wife Romaine; one nephew; and many friends at North Ridge Care Center in New Hope.
