James Hardy

Funeral services for James Harold Hardy, 69, were held Tuesday, Nov. 5, at the Evangelical Free Church in Milaca with the Rev. Mike Johnson officiating.
Burial followed at the Forest Hill Cemetery in Milaca. Music was provided by Donna Pearson and Carol Braaten. Pallbearers included Matt Hardy, Tim Hardy, Lonnie Ferrier, Allen Lundstrom, Harlan Lundstrom and Daryl Totzke
.
Arrangements were by the Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home in Milaca.

Mr. Hardy died Saturday, Nov. 2, 2002 at Fairview Northland Regional Hospital in Princeton.
He was born Aug. 1, 1933 to Emil and Elma (Salmela) Hardy in Chase Brook in Mille Lacs County. He grew up in the area and worked for several farmers. He attended the Milaca DAC for several years and recently resided at a foster home in Princeton.

He is survived by his sisters, Violet Larson of Minneapolis, Gladys Payne of Minneapolis, Lorraine Lundstrom of Anoka, Jane Totzke of Foley and Millie Bourgeois of Isle; brothers, Bill of Columbia Heights, Clarence of Milaca, Donald of Crystal, Melvin of Maple Grove and Robert of Aitkin.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Laurence and Raymond; and sisters, Lillian Hamm, Evie Stark, Rose Antle and Mable Hardy.
