A girl, Rachael Ann, was born to Byron and MaryAnn Nelson of Mankato on May 10, 2002 at Immanuel St. Josephís Hospital, Mankato.

She weighed 8 pounds 7 ounces.

Grandparents are Roger and the late Joyce Diethelm of Milaca and Dick and Iris Nelson of Mankato.
She was welcomed home by her sister Jacqueline.
