Funeral services for Bill Weidenhamer, 71, were held Saturday, May 11 at Zion Lutheran Church in Milaca.

Music was provided by Dale Hunter and Ann Johnson. Pallbearers included Daniel Peterson, Ben Peterson, Kyle Peterson, Abdon Peterson, Michael Weidenhamer and Jeff Jensen.

Arrangements were by the Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home in Milaca.

Mr. Weidenhamer died at home in Milaca Tuesday, May 7, 2002.

He was born May 10, 1930 in Minneapolis. He attended West High School in Minneapolis and the University of Minnesota. He served with the Army 16th Signal Corp during the Korean War. He married Becky Smith Dec. 23, 1951 in Minneapolis. He retired from the Milwaukee Soo Line Railroad after 38 years of service.

He loved music, everything from country to classical.

He will be missed by Becky, Susan and Abdon Peterson, Jr., Doug Weidenhamer, Carol and Chuck OíConnell, Dan, Ben and Kyle Peterson and Jamie and Michael Weidenhamer.
