July 11, 2002

Criminal sexual assault of a juvenile was reported. The incident took place in Wisconsin. The victim was in Milaca when it was reported.

July 12, 2002

A check with insufficient funds was issued to Milaca Liquor by a Milaca resident in the amount of $28.28.

A check with insufficient funds was issued to Mille Lacs Veterinary Clinic by a Princeton resident in the amount of $109.50.

Property damage was reported at 2nd Avenue SW which occurred sometime between June 10 and July 12.

Damage was reported to a vehicle at 1st Street East.

Police responded to an alarm at 9th Street NE.

July 14, 2002

Police responded to an alarm at Stewart Jewelers. The building was secure.

Police responded to a call for public assistance regarding a civil matter at 2nd Street SE.

Police responded to a verbal domestic situation at 8th Street NE.

Police responded to a civil custody dispute between Milaca residents at Little Dukes.

July 15, 2002

A check with insufficient funds was issued to Olsonís Super Valu by a Dalbo resident in the amount of $27.32.

July 16, 2002

A driving complaint was reported at 3rd Avenue and 4th Street NW.

An Isle resident was ticketed for speeding, 39 mph in a 30 mph zone, at 10th Street NE.

A report of a white male running through a private yard and into the woods was reported. Police believe it is a possible homeless person.

July 17, 2002

An Ogilvie resident was ticketed for speeding, 43 mph in a 30 mph zone.

A complaint was received of two vehicles driving recklessly at Rec Park.

A call was received regarding a missing juvenile at 2nd Avenue NW. The juvenile was located later at his motherís home in Zimmerman.

July 18, 2002

Police assisted Mille Lacs County with a verbal dispute in Bock.

Police responded to a complaint of a barking dog at Central Avenue South.

Police responded to an attempted burglary at the Mille Lacs Aviation hangar at the airport. No damage was reported.

A complaint of noise was reported at 10th Street NW.

A two-vehicle traffic accident was reported in the alley between 2nd Avenue SW and Central Avenue South. A Milaca resident and a Foley resident were involved, there was minor damages to the vehicles and no injuries were reported.

A stolen bicycle was reported, but later found, at 4th Avenue NW.

The theft of fire extinguishers from apartment buildings was reported at 4th Avenue NW.

Police responded to a call for medical assistance at 4th Avenue SW.

A complaint of garbage at Trimble Park was reported.

A Milaca resident was arrested for DWI at the alley between Central Avenue and 2nd Avenue SW.

A possible sexual assault of a juvenile was reported at 2nd Street NE.

July 19, 2002

A garbage complaint and a civil dispute were reported at 8th Street NE.

A Milaca resident was ticketed for speeding, 45 mph in a 30 mph zone, at Central Avenue South.

A Milaca resident was ticketed for speeding, 40 mph in a 30 mph zone, at Central Avenue and 10th Street NE.
